Buffy

Buffy was a Female Pastel Polecat, she was born in 2000 and died aged 7 on the 8th of November of 2007.

She was originally owned by a lad in Portsmouth, but unfortunately for him, his circumstances had changed, and he could no longer spend the quality time with her, that he knew she deserved.

We got her when she was about 18 months old, and she immediately settled in with Tigger and Bagpuss and later Taz, when he came on board. After a couple of years, Clive, and the partner he was with at the time, parted company. She kept the two boys, and Clive took Buffy and Tigger to live with Suz's ferrets (Badger, Bodger and Willow). Buffy never complained, and just carried on with her role of Peace maker and mother hen.

In her entire life, She never bit anyone, and was always there for not only the other ferrets, but us as well, if things were not right.

She was always a portly girl, but seemed to thrive on it, and only slimmed down in the last couple of years of her life.

She was the perfect PR ferret, pretty, and really did her bit to help show people that not all ferrets are nasty bitey smelly things.

She finally fell asleep one last time in our arms. We have buried her in the garden next to Tigger, Badger, Bodger and Willow. The Original 3 of Suz's and Clive's 2 are now all at rest together.

Buffy, we hope you find the other 4 and have lots of fun together again. We loved you so much and will miss you dearly.

Identifying features:- Large for a girl, medium sized in our group. Would walk slowly on lead, but kept asking to come up, then wanting to get back down. Enjoyed a short cuddle.
