Fudge came to us, after she was re-homed from a place where she was kept on her own in a cat basket.

She was picked up, at the same time as Munchie and Buttons. She was already nearly 5 years old when she came to us and immediately settled in, deciding she wanted to live and play with all the other ferrets. She was a bit timid towards us, but we worked hard, and she was becoming a very sweet ferret.

Having had 8 ferrets by the time we got Fudge, we had become complacent, thinking we had completely "Ferret Proofed" the house. Unfortunately, she was electrocuted, managing to prove us wrong in the worst possible way. She succeed in squeezing through a very small hole by a drain pipe on the back of the dishwasher.

Although we only had her a few months, she had become a fantastic character, who decided any food good enough for people, was good enough for her. The slightest rustle of a packet, or tinkle of a spoon on a cup was enough to have her waiting on the sofa for your return with what ever goodies you may have.
